Star Bulkofficially announced on September 4 that it will proceed with a parallel listing on Euronext Athens, aiming to raise up to approximately €112.2 million. Specifically, the company has obtained all necessary regulatory approvals for the parallel listing on Euronext Athens and will issue 4.4 million new shares, with planned maximum gross proceeds of about €112.2 million. Star Bulk will maintain its existing Nasdaq listing under the ticker symbol "SBLK" unchanged, thereby establishing a dual listing structure on both Nasdaq and Euronext Athens.

At the same time, Star Bulk’s Chief Executive Officer, Petros Pappas, has informed the company’s board of directors that his family, through two entities under his control (which are existing shareholders of Star Bulk), intends to participate in the new share offering with an expected total investment of approximately €6 million, subject to the final terms and conditions of the public offering.

Following the merger with Eagle Bulk, Star Bulk is one of the largest publicly listed dry bulk shipping companies in the United States, operating a fleet of 145 dry bulk vessels, including 32 Newcastlemax/Capesize vessels, 53 Panamax/Kamsarmax vessels, and 60 Ultramax/Supramax vessels.
